Client Spotlight - Coldwell Banker, NRT (Parent Company: Realogy)

Beginning January 2015, Pivot began partnering with our first international client , Coldwell Banker NRT (located in Maitland) and is a subsidiary of Realogy. Realogy. Realogy's goal is to be the leading provider of a broad range of world-class real estate services to their customers while increasing revenues and profitability across all of our businesses. Realogy-affiliated brands and is made up of Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, CENTURY 21®, Coldwell Banker®, Coldwell Banker Commercial®, Corcoran®, ERA®, Sotheby's International Realty® and ZipRealty®.

Realogy headquarters are located in Madison, N.J. Globally, the corporation has approximately 14,100 offices and approximately 273,200 independent sales associates doing business in 112 countries and territories around the world, including approximately 790 company owned offices through NRT LLC. Including NRT, Realogy franchisees handled 1.471 million real estate transaction sides in 2016.

The primary services Pivot Business Consulting provides for Coldwell Banker is creation of their 'Best of Class' intern recruiting and management program. It all started with Karl 'Dee" Maret, Eastern U.S. Director and David Hunter, Commercial Director of Florida, East Coast both gentlemen are savvy entrepreneurial commercial real estate brokers that embraced Pivot's intern management training and received a great ROI their first quarter.

Twelve students started in 2015 and out of the twelve, 6 chose commercial real estate as their career path. The program continues to gain traction among students from UCF's real estate program, Rollins College's international business economics, and MBA students, and Valencia College's real estate and marketing students. The real ROI for everyone is that Coldwell Banker is gaining visibility as dynamic company to work with that brings smart entrepreneurial students onboard and turns them into real estate moguls.

Coldwell Banker has been expanding their intern program throughout the state. I hope to have the opportunity to work with Ryan Gorman, COO with Coldwell Banker NRT, whose headquarters are located in Madison, N.J., to roll the program out nationally.
